Quill Side Panel

This article is a work in progress

How does the Side Panel work?

The Side Panel has several static blocks at the top of it's Home page for quick access to those features. Below these are customisable blocks - you can add, remove, or resize them to your convenience.

Through the Quill Side Panel (on the right of your workspace), you can quickly access:

  • Focus Mode
  • Drafts
  • Notes
  • Styling
  • World documents (Cards, Maps, Canvases, Trees, Graph, etc.)
  • Detected cards (from Entity Detection)
  • A pinned Radio station
  • A specific image from your Gallery

Clicking some of these options will open another tab on the Side Panel, specifically for that feature.

About Quill Notes

Notes are organised by Chapter, though you are able to have general Notes that aren't attached to anything.

You can make a Note about a specific part of text by highlighting it and selecting the "Add Note" button. This new Note will appear attached to the Chapter that the text is from.

About Styling

By default, Quill will match the Theme you've made for your World. However, through the Side Panel Styling button (on Write Mode) you can customise how your writing space looks. You can choose between a number of solid color backgrounds and different fonts. "Google Docs" mode will make the documents have borders still.

Publish Mode

When you enter the Quill Publish mode, the options available on the Side Panel will change.
