# Worlds

### What is a World?

A "World" in vvd is basically a project folder. When you enter a World in vvd, you're really entering a workspace designed to help you develop whatever creative project you've dedicated that World to.

It doesn't necessarily mean that you are restricted to writing about one singular planet within that space. You can use vvd to create entire universes within the same project.

### How many can I have?

If you're on the free plan, you will only be able to own one World.

If you're on the Hobbyist subscription, you can have up to three, while on Pro there are no limits.

### How do I make a new World?

Click on the vvd icon on the top left of your screen. This will open a thin sidebar. On it is a plus sign, click it and it'll take you to set up a new World.

### How do I swap between Worlds?

You can use the sidebar mentioned above to do this, just click on the icon of the World that you want to go to. You can pin your favorites to the top by right clicking them, to make navigation more convenient.

On that same sidebar there is also a "Worlds" button at the top, which will take you to the list of all the Worlds you have access to.

### How do I delete a World?

Click your World's name on the top left and go to your World Settings.
