# Import & Export

The Import and Export functions in vvd are currently in Beta.

### About Exports:

* You can export your whole World as a zip by clicking on the down-arrow next to your World name at the top left of the workspace. You can choose exporting writing only, in md and json files, or you can choose to export your media as well
* You can export individual documents by clicking on the "..." menu on the top right of them, and clicking "Share". Different documents have different file types available to export into
* [Quill](https://vvd.crisp.help/en/article/quill-overview-jpl3u0/) has an export function too. To find it, change from "Write" mode to "Publish" on the menu at the bottom.

### About Imports:

* This feature is still in an even earlier stage than exports
* You drag your documents or files in, or select them from your device, and vvd will read them and try to sort them into cards or other documents. When it's done, you can review every document that's about to be created and change it's type if you want to.
